This is the public release of a lore version of the Ford Crown Victoria I have made: the Vapid Victor. The body shell is made from scratch. I then used default game assets for the interior, engine bay and underside to ensure the vehicle fits in with the rest of the game. I have added many extras to the vehicle that allows various customization options, see the list below.
As you can see, this is a rendition of the Ford Crown Victoria with lore badging. I do not care for debates about what goes and what doesn't go in the lore community, this mod is for those that appreciate real-life styling of cars but want vehicles to fit in brand-wise.

what in dlclist,xml?
replace ford badge with vapid, lore restorededered.....
Done a nice job on this! Love the moveable drivers spotlight, that's a nice touch. Just a couple of things might be worth looking at for future updates, the handling is a bit meh, the car likes to roll over if you corner too fast and some more liveries would be nice for the police models. However I do agree with the others who have commented though, this is a just a CVPI with Vapid badging, but you've done a good job with it especially regarding the model sizes by keeping them low I mean they're pretty much the same size as other lore mods are, this whole pack is 16mb, that's the same size as 1 CVPI model that i've seen from other modders. Good job, 5*
3 and a half because its a good model and all but I doubt the fact that its been modeled from scratch, it looks more like it was ported from an other game then rebadged,
the description is missing credits for Jacobmaate
anyway, this will surely cause a lot of controversy in the lore community debating if its lore friendly or not i'm gonna love to see everyone scream at eachother
vapid victory all over again
While it is a Crown Vic rebadge, something that has been poorly done before from other creator, I see potential for future works. If you are being sincere and legit that the body was created from scratch, something others in these comments cannot prove, only you. Then that in itself is an achievement, since most real life vehicles are heinous in optimization. I say continue with your work as you see fit and continue creating optimized mods, you've done well so far and don't let the critics ruin it for you.
While the vehicle doesn't truly fit into the lore of the game, you're free to build the fanon lore yourself, its your game at the end of the day. The interior change is a nice touch, evem making use of various Lore Friendly mod creators assets, thats a good change of pace. 5*
@GeantPoire7906 It was literally modelled from scratch. I don't like what the Victor is, but I know Mario and I saw this created from scratch. If this model wasn't a 1:1 replica of a CVPI, it would be hailed as the greatest thing since sliced bread in the modding community.
Well, you can cooperate with someone and make a well-developed model.
The problem with this, is that even if it really was done from scratch is that it is basically just a 1:1 copy of the real thing. It looks as if its a rebadge with lore assets slapped onto it.
People can say it’s great and all, fine. But whats the point in having something that is just an identical copy of the real car? It has the same issues as RL models, it doesn’t fit into the game. If more had been done to lorify it, then it could’ve been great. But as it stands now it’s just nothing special. If we get another model in the future that fits better into the game and doesn’t look like its just a rebadged vic, then that’d really be a great addition to the lore modding community.
I don´t get why people keep commenting such a BS....
If you want a crown vic, get a crown vic. If you want it lore friendly, keep the stanier.
If you want something between with more detailed looks but low file size, get this thing!
It is dumb to say it is not lore friendly enough since everything which is not done by R* itself is a mod.
POINT!
happy to see a great rendition of this meme vehicle
@Marksman i really doubt it though, maybe some parts, sure but not the entire model, its a CVPI and if it were 100% modeled from scratch that would be impressive
@Wanted188 No, please read the description. I appreciate the support and kind words in the comments. I have uploaded some snapshots of the different LOD versions which hopefully shows the efforts of optimization I have put in.
@GeantPoire7906 Feel free to check out the LODS screenshot I added if you doubt my modeling skills.
@predator79-18 Wondering that myself. No mention of it in the download or this page :>\
The modelling isn't bad, but it isn't good either. I like the effort put in, even though it isn't my taste. Well done nonetheless.
Well done!
Well, just to say keep up the good work. And, do something for the front/rear lights next time, to make them more lore friendly and breakable (rear)
@mariolsrp Ive got nothing against your car, please don't get me wrong. but I know that such mods can lead to a lot of drama.
i think that if you would've designed something similar in its idea to the crown vic but different in shape\dimensions then it would've been much more interesting.
regardless, best of luck in your endeavors!
great job, interesting, even though it's kind of a copy of the CVPI this would be a good alternative to stainer, I won't give any stars for not causing a civil war in the comments section
not that anyone asked for it but i'll give my two cents anyway. the unlore community has many an LODless unspec car. instead of having this a "lore friendly" vic which already exists as the stanier. these would work great as simply the real thing with spec lighting and liveries plus LODs which so many a unlore car is lacking. i look forward to see what else you do, even if you do end up doing real life vehicles
