REALISTIC CAR DAMAGE
Will now not be updated. I found a little hiccup in the file.So go and download the new and a hole lot better with always going to be updated GAMEISTIC VEHICLE DAMAGE. This is just going to get even better.....
For the new 1.1.0 Gameistic Vehicle Damage I will not be helping or answering questions unless rated.
This file changes the amount of damage your vehicle takes..
In other words REALISTIC CAR DAMAGE..
This is is a small file I did to hold us over to Killatomate finishes his file.. This package includes a total of 1 file that is it.Your be done in just as little as 5 Mins.of your time.There is also a ReadMe in the zip file.This can be ran as a stand alone without LSPDFR, RagePluginHook, or anything for that matter.As long as you have Grand Theft Auto 5 and the latest patch your good to go.
INSTALLATION
1. Open OpenIV.
2. Click EDIT MODE
3. Go to your handling.meta file located at update\update.rpf\common\date.
4. Make a backup of your handling.meta.
5. Drag and drop the new handling.meta you just downloaded to OpenIV.
Note: Unzip it,don't just open the zip file then drag and drop it inside OpenIV. Game will crash. Unzip it to where ever you want it, then drag and drop to OpenIV. If you have your handling.meta edit, then drop me a message with your handling.meta and yes I will be nice to edit for you.If you think this is to realistic for you I may think about making a Non Realistic one..
Enjoy & Thank you...
6. Click back on EDIT MODE to save , Close OpenIV..
NOTE 2: It doesn't change any vehicle handling, just car accident damage.With that said.Work's well with RagePluginHook 47 ,GTA 5 1.0.877.1 patch, LSPDFR. and also with Captain 14's LSPD new Pack.If you have your handling.meta edit, then drop me a message with your handling.meta and yes I will be nice to edit for you.If you think this is to realistic for you I may think about making a Non Realistic one.
NOTE: This is just a quick fix onto my boy Killatomate finish updating his file(Realistic Driving V ).I'm giving you something rather you having nothing.Very big shot out to Killatomate for his good work. Thank you for bring this back...This was edit and made by me AKA RoadReaper , You can find the ReadMe in the zip
..PEACE..

@Frazzlee look for <fDeformationDamageMult value="X.XXXXXX" /> and change the value to <fDeformationDamageMult value="3.800000" /> . (e.g.<fDeformationDamageMult value="0.700000" /> changed to <fDeformationDamageMult value="3.800000" /> ) You need to do this for every vehicle.
@Pauker jeez alright haha thanks man
@destroyer11687 Pauker answered all the questions guys.Thank you Pauker...
@Frazzlee You are welcome...
@MAESTRE Yes it does...Enjoy Working on something bigger then this right now.Don't know if i'm going to finish it..
@RoadReaper nearly done haha

Could you please edit my handling.meta? I love your mod but cannot use it with RDE.
I also use Killatomate's handling, and can recommend GTA Handling Editor for quickly making batch edits (apply a given edit to all vehicles in one click):
https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/gtav-handling-editor
The settings i use are:
<fCollisionDamageMult value="5" />
<fWeaponDamageMult value="2.5" />
<fDeformationDamageMult value="5" />
<fEngineDamageMult value="2.5" />
..fairly arbitrary but fairly well balanced - be aware that some of these parameters effectively modify others, so for instance raising collisiondamage also raises the amount of damage a collision inflicts on your engine and deformation..
From extensive testing, i've found that the perfect balance is a compromise - replicating the kind of damage a given collision should cause in real life invariably results in a car that can be completely trashed by a melee attack. Conversely, make melee damage reaslistic and you can drive away from a 100 mph crash into a concrete wall.
Another thing to consider is that if you like racing against AI cars, you don't want 'em losing their wheels as soon as they crash - wheel damage to AI cars can get really annoying as they limp around holding up traffic..
To everyone that has download this. This will no longer been work on because I found a hiccup in the file. So with that said I made a huge change on the file down load the new Gameistic Vehicle Damage File.I bet You Will enjoy way better then this one.For sure..
@destroyer11687 there is more.
@MrVibrating What if you look at the other handling editor mod by ikt? It was made to address issues with the other mod.
"Look at my comments for that thing, it's faulty, it doesn't understand commas and points and I shouldn't need to set my system language to some European thing for it to work, the calculation/display of some values is plain wrong. This this was made out of frustration of that thing :) That other thing just flips out when you try to change one value and seems more like a thing to mess around in MP than a dev tool ;)"
@Think_Tank - all i've used it for is that single coarse edit, for which it did the job, but obviously, if there's an IKT mod for ANYTHING then it's probably the better option.. and probably beats manual editing too.. will check it out now, and thanks for the heads up..
Hi, nice mod but spoilers like setine etc. doesnt't deform like this, they are only loosing same paint or get pressed into the car front but not deform itself.
how to remove this mod??
Awesome:)
I really like the mod, it does what it claims to do and works fine. BUT: It's really annoying to put all the files manually in the dlc folders. I'd love to see a oiv Package for that. If you want I could do that, or even better: you do it because I don't like work that much :P But please use oiv!
THIS SHOULD BE PINED I MADE A VIDEO FOR THE MOD BUT CaNT ADD IT I DONT KNOW WHY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyFEwj_IeJQ
since i downloaded this mod my game broke... I don't know why! Pls help
@reos4346 if you bought it through steam, you can always revert the files thru steam
@OrbitAbsolute do i just do restore files?
