Usually you have to match position and diameter of steering wheel to original placements, if it's new vehicle, i use template out of original vehicle, piece of seat, steering wheel and seat dummy and move it all together into new interior, i use piece of seat to match with seat in new car which will make sitting right, then move new car's steering wheel to match template's wheel in vertex mode. Ofcourse that will only work with same layout setting where car template came from. So if you cut out template pieces out of cavalcade, cavalcade layout setting has to be used. That's why it's important to choose similar vehicle for template

@iamhardheaded797 Dials don't work? Here's the solution: change dashboard type to VDT_RACE and child to veh_race_generic in vehicles.meta. Works for me.
