i read an article about these guys but i'm still kind of confused. are Airport Operations, security or maintenance personnel? and why do they drive police cars? (caprices and vics)
@The_Mookster From what I've gathered their primary duty is to clean debris that may be on the runways but I believe there is much more than just debris clearing. They are maintenace personnel. Security is dealt with by LAXPD Traffic & Security. I believe it's easier for them to have police spec vehicles..spotlights to spot debris? Pushbars to push blockages. I'm not too sure.
Works, but the sirens don't (idk if thats intentional). Also the vehicle name doesn't show up properly, it just says ''Vapid , Emergency''.
