Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind reviews.
It's a shame @rappo selects only "Popular" (most downloaded) mods to go onto the "Featured" page. In history, the idea of "Featuring" mods is to bring awareness to mods that aren't receiving enough attention.
I know people would be very interested in the map mod I've created. It's just a shame I'm not good with screenshots, so few actually click on the mod to check out more (and then finally realize what actually comes with it), which is why I'd really appreciate someone making screenshots for me.
Maybe we can make @rappo change his mind an put this into the Featured page? For that, I'd like you guys to PLEASE "@rappo". Even if your response to this message is just literally "@rappo".
Thank You. :)
PS: I notified @GTATerminal, hoping he might be able to help me on this. I put in too much work to obtain as little as 160 downloads in a week.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@krashadam Yeah, that's something I paid great attention to. :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@Reyser @Vans123 Reyser is right. I for instance have around 7 different backups of my game. Also, if you can't afford to do so, you could always just use the "mods" folder that OpenIV will provide you. If you make sure the files go into that folder, and never the main directory, the game itself will be a backup, as to remove the problem you encounter, you'll only need to remove the file from the "mods" folder.
@Hyper Droid
If you want anything with mods or any screenshots done, add my Skype Chowder9999. I'll be glad to help if you need any.
@Hyper Droid But on a map like L.A, people like me can get bored of L.A within seconds. Just if only we could have our own cities, with our own police. No "drift tracks", because if I were to actually do any drifting, I'd be happier doing drifts on a map of like, those old, ghetto sides of NYC.
Just realized I never rated this MAD DOPE
@Hyper Droid Looks just perfectly fine, gonna try it first thing in the next gameplay.(Tonight maybe.) 5/5 from me.
I Missed it! Just found your work! Good job looks to be really well done! @Hyper Droid downloads aren't fair dude, but don't be discouraged! Keep on working and you'll see results ;)
@Marco_Italy I have been on a massive personal (maybe released, I don't know yet) project where I've combined many mods, and personal tweaks to create the ultimate optimized GTA V. The game is very badly optimized for triple monitor displays. While frame rates are very good, stuttering was a huge issue (and still is for everyone else) to the point it made the game feel it was running at 20FPS or less. No changes in performance were made by going from maximum and minimum settings. Strange right? Well, that's what I've been up to: finding what's caused it and fixing it.
Anyways, I now can run the game at maximum settings (MSAA 4x and Grass on max, FXAA, anti-aliasing at 16x, etc) and have 80FPS with no stuttering. After 20 days working at this, I managed to successfully and proudly pull it off.
After many stability tests, a couple days ago I proceeded to install my hundred of mods all over again. Once this is all done (not much installing of mods is left to be done), ...
----------------------------
This is news, people:
----------------------------
...I will release a new version of the Mod which will have a few more options to select from, and also for those who don't have or don't want Map Builder, there will be a folder with options without Map Builder. Now, this will be a complicated change, and the result will obviously be different than the original, especially in the floor and roads that have been modded. Otherwise, everything else should be exactly the same.
Hopefully this will generate more attraction to the mod. I also asked @Elope a week ago for screenshots, which he said he would do but I think he forgot. XD
The big YouTubers, which are the biggest by far factor for bringing a massive amount of attraction like @Elanip @GamingWithKev, TypicalGamer, Kwebbelpop, Jelly and LispyJimmy don't use Map Builder, and only download the easy to install Map Editor.
@Kaai210 @Ashishcw @Chowder200 @Krashadam @DevinKan @Cgz @Vans123 @AuthorSaulAlan @J9090
Anyone willing to make screenshots? I will, in bold, mark out who made what screenshots to help me out. I need some decent screens that will grab attention towards the mod.
__________________________________________________________________________
Another thing that has brought me to do this huge optimization project was the Map builder, Map Editor and Menyoo Map Builder. The reason why it moves me to do this is that it would give a massive (I haven't tested my mod yet :o) boost to these modifications. Less loading times, less lag, stuttering, etc.
In my map in particular, which I love to use, I can then without any lag issues in multi-monitor setups, use the map mod.
__________________________________________________________________________
@Kaai210 Thanks Kaai! I postponed that weapon mod that I was going to do (not revealing which) for the above reasons. I'll let you know when I start, and chances are I'll need some help with it. Heheh!
@Ashishcw Did you try it out in the end? Did you enjoy it? Any lag issues! :P
@Chowder200 I'm still really interested... Got time or still working on your soldier mods?
@Krashadam Couldn't agree more. I spend by far most of my time in the fields role-playing as a soldier, building houses in Map Editor, and buying property in small towns, which to me is much more realistic.
@Hyper Droid It's not that I've forgot....I've fried my computer.....days ago
I'll be back with your screenshots as promised in a few days,and the release of my mods...hope my harddisc is not fried....
@Elope I hope for your sake that it's not. I have been dealing with a similar issue with my SSD. Yeah, of all things, an SSD? Well, it was not being recognized for quite some time until I diagnosed it, and it's now seeming to work perfectly like the good old day! However, the PC did randomly cut out yesterday, which makes me now think that my clock settings are not stable. Man, it's a busy life maintaining a PC, especially when you have a very complex machine, eh? Let me know when you're up and running.
I am really looking forward to the screenshots. Once you have them, I'll upload the updated version of Gangsta's Paradise. Any of you guys think the name should be different?
love it !
@Hyper Droid Amazing work!
What has changed in version 1.1?
can you help when i try to load this map it says thishttps://gyazo.com/315a9bae6d828ad06a7d6b20178453e4

nice
yass great job on the update man
@DevinKan Thanks homie! it's been a good while since I've been around here because of just how busy I am IRL, but I thought it was worth giving the mod a quick update.
Very impressive. 😃
