Explosive Shotgun V2.2 (backup included)
NOTE:
-i might have ruined someone's day because of the wrong installation at step5;too small for an update so just little notification.
-I highly recommend you download one of those mods that increase deformation on cars
-credits to Drkz's AK-47 Drum mag mod, which inspired the v2.2 update
*V2.2 update:
-added 32 rounds drum mag(optional)
-changed to the safer installations
Features
-Frag rounds replaced slug rounds(the heavyshotgun)
-Increased range(x1.5)
-Center&Edge damage and force
-Can damage objects
-Can also damage cars
-Force will apply to most vehicles
-equip the extended mag to get the 32round drum-mag(optional)

-Damage reworked
-Fixed an issue where wired animations would overide ragdoll physics
-Force affects vehicles more
-Added a feature that frag damage will not decrease overdistance

1.first, create these folders like this (in Grand Theft Auto V folder): mods\update
2.copy the original/clean file "GTAV\update\update.rpf" to here "Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\"
3.Replace: GTA V\mods\update\update.rpf\dlc_patch\mplts\common\data\ai\weaponheavyshotgun.meta with my file
4.Replace: GTA V\mods\update\update.rpf\dlc_patch\mpindependence\common\data\effects\explosionfx.dat with my file
5.(drum mag, optional)ADD the weaponcomponents.meta to: GTA V\mods\update\update.rpf\dlc_patch\mplts\common\data\ai\
6.ADD the explosion.meta to: GTA V\mods\update\update.rpf\dlc_patch\mpindependence\common\data\

@GeorgeZhang Now that we have the ability to change sounds, do you think it would be possible to add the GTA IV Explosive Shotgun sound in to this weapon?
@-CriticalBrit we do? it should be. but it should replace the explosion sound.it should be a very good addition to the mod. I'm currently trying to figure out how to "add" a dlc explosion, it doesn't work right now, but if someone would like to share the method when he figures it out, I'll really appreciate him,and make all this thing possible:)
@GeorgeZhang I managed to allow the shotgun to fire explosive rounds (using a new file) while keeping the original firework explosion separate to the firework launcher. Is this what you mean by the "DLC explosion" because it doesn't replace any other explosion as far as I can tell? I'll do some more testing as the explosion is a bit big.
@GeorgeZhang Is there a way to decrease the size of the explosion? Is it in explosion.meta or .dat? I have a feeling it's in another file that we can't edit.
@-CriticalBrit does the explosion as big as a grenade?if so, then unfortunately that's probably just what i meant by "doesn't work".the game uses default explosion when it was unable to find the paticle effects of the explosion you implanted to prevent errors.i'm not sure it is that or you did succeeded.you can try creating an "explosionfx" file for the explosion and adjust the first number value, which is the scale, to make it smaller. hope it works!

@-CriticalBrit and our goal is to have a different explosion effect, while leaving the railgun or grenade unchanged. so we need to add explosion. but i don't know where to copy the original particle fx files nor how to make them work...well i guess i'll do the audio you mentioned first, before someone figures the ptfx out:)

@EL_Greco Well, actually I got X360 version of explosion.meta before to study it. And probably not because the method to add a new explosions yet to be discovered.

Btw The Problem Is That It Doesnt Have Its Own Explosion If Someone could help.
@Claude_III I think it needs a hash added somewhere so the game knows what the name of the explosion is, I have been looking for a gtx2 file that has explosion tags in it but no luck yet.
