This mod Is more of a fix for gta5, fixing FOV as in the og game you can't see anything while aiming,realistic magsize as in the og game mag size for certain weapons are very unrealistic. Recoil, as weapons in the og game have recoil like airsoft guns,realistic tracers and muzzle flash as the og game has very dull muzzle flash. Realistic weapon shells, because in the game every weapon shoots rifle rounds. Realistic penetration because I am sure were all sick of how there is no object or body penetration, realistic grip like the game Ready Or Not. Realistic Rocket launcher and grenade launcher speed, and realistic fire rate for mk2s because mk2s in the game almost have no difference from the normal weapons.
It is highly reccomended to use viewpointv with this mod.
Installation: Open the zip file with Winrar, then open the folder called F.W.O.
then fire up open4 and click edit mode, Last step is to drag the OIV into Open 4 and install
into mods folder and enjoy.

1.1: Redid all of the editing in the meta files and fixed a small bug where the NPC'S
would freeze when shot. Edited all of the meta files for most of the DLC weapons (it say's which weapons in the video) made a .OIV for it for easy install
1.5:Added realistic penetration as well as realistic shell effects.
2.0:Redid the whole mod from scratch, added all of the dlc weapons to the mod. bullets now go through doors, as well as trees and many other objects. Removed the reticule for ultra realism, (but it is optional.)
2.2: Homing launcher and proximity mine fix,NVE combatibility patch. (NOTE) Tracers are custom and will not be removed, added realistic bullet smoke for objects like metal and concrete.
Shout out to @kanadianborn for the shell mod.
Bugs:
Install RDE over this if you use it.
If you switch to Trevor from another character he will bug out in first person.

@kanadianborn Bro I was wondering how to edit ptfx files, do you know anything about that?
@logoso2020 sorry for the late reply but ptfx are more like effect folders rather then files the files u want to edit are called ytp files and in order to decompile them into editable xmls you would need a program like CodewalkerV (Pretty much just OpenIV with more option for files u could not edit in OpenIV minus the user friendly UI)
@kanadianborn Yeah but I want to make custom explosions using programs like blender, do you know how to export the files in the core.ypt into blender? As your weapon shells mod edit the core.ypt.
@logoso2020 effects are not able to be ported into blender since most effects are just textures but you can extract the models from the core.ytp like trash and shell models

@logoso2020 depends on what the effect is supposed to be so for example explosions, muzzle flashes and tracers, rain etc are just textures some of which are ether one or 20 or so to create a frame animation off of one texture but some have models like shell casings, trash exploding out of bags some impact effects on concrete etc the ladder of which use models but im not sure how to get them into blender since i've never really touched blender in my life besides ytp files store info for the models being used and can edit the size, placement, yaw, speed etc

Just found a new bug, bullet wounds on npcs are gone, but the blood still splatters on the ground

@345537 Sorry man, but that is a huge part of this mod and I will not be removing it anytime soon, perhaps you could learn xml config editing.
@345537 it would be tedious to change it yourself given every weapon's meta file has its own fov value you would need to change put its certainly not impossible also tbf its a matter of preference since the most agreed upon thing is that the default weapon fov in first person is lackluster to say the least
If ya'll want a good combat mod, just use immersive combat or make your own.
