This will add the ES44AC loco to replace default freight or to add to Overhauled Trains. Instructions are in the READ ME. Has working lights and cab light. Has lit ditch lights. Has proper COLs and LODs and has livery support. Some of my favorite company paint jobs are in the livery pack. To drive it, add ES44 to the railroad engineer mod.
To enable liveries on default replace:
In OpenIV navigate to:
MODS\ COMMON.RPF\ DATA\ LEVELS\ GTA5
Make a backup of VEHICLES.META.
Next enter edit mode and right click on vehicles.meta in the OpenIV list.
Select EDIT.
Search for the entry for "FREIGHT"
Add the following in the FLAGS of the entry:
FLAG_HAS_LIVERY
Unclick edit mode and exit OpenIV.
The engine will now show different pain-jobs when it spawns.

so happy to see a loco with working ditch lights! was mad overhauled trains didn't have them
@The_Mookster I will be adding more soon and I almost have it working to where the ditch lights can blink. Trying to hook that feature to the horn and have them also trigger near road crossings. The game engine is capable of each needed piece. I just need to figure out how to put them together by default in the model so no extra scripts or crap needed.
@Foxunitone sounds cool. wig wag or just blink? i see you've been busy but i was wondering if you could do an updated version of the vanilla locomotive. with ditch lights, exhaust and the like. if not i'll just add a go loco livery to this
@The_Mookster I think at one point I was debating making ditch lights work when you turned on high beams inside the engine but I decided not to. Can't remember why though to be honest
the train works so that at night the headlights stay on when you switch the high beams on and off. maybe you could make that work for the ditch lights somehow? either way its nice to see working ditches in any case.
Eh, I haven't had the game even installed for months.
Would be nice to see Fox find a way to make them work though, and the horn too. I've tried changing the horns to be more realistic before but never got too far.
But also this model looks neat too, gotta say.
@The_Mookster Im going for wig-wag style. Im also trying to get working strobes for the UP and SP 9's.
@Walter Overhauled trains and train watching is really the only reason Im still even playing this game and not just train sim lol
@Foxunitone dude this is f''''''' awesome ,thanks for all the models ,u made my day <3
@vladimir9292 You're welcome friend! I will be doing more soon. This engine was kind of a last minute decision to add, so thank you to everyone for liking it.
@Foxunitone Shit dude ,im gonna reinstall gta and only use your moods lmfao
This train engine is beautiful and.I love the fact it has four liveries and you can put flag has livery so it changes skins at each spawn:)
@Norm68 Thank you, I'm glad you like the engine, and for reminding me I will add the info for the livery flag for the default replace!
u keep rollin my man
i wish i had paypal so we i could to the same and buy a liscense
@BOSSA1978 If you do decide to try ZM3, I will offer any advise I can if you need it. I'm still learning but have come a long way in just a couple of months. I will gladly help people out when I can to avoid the frustrations I experienced trying to figure most of this out lol.
@Foxunitone yes quite some progress, i made my own unmarked lapd explorer - now the free liscene is expired. is the only way to pay paypal, cuz i dont have that:(
@BOSSA1978 You can attach your paypal to a credit card or prepaid card instead. I use pre paid credit cards only for my paypal I dont like my real bank attached to anything lol.
really cool mod, adds a lot more realism than the stock loco
@Walter Where have you been man, You've been gone for like a year
