Rockstar killed the look of civilian helicopters by bolting the rear doors to the airframe. Giving passengers the ride from hell as they get their faces covered with air pollution. Fear no more! The improved Buckingham maverick is here to save you.
The pack features four helicopters:
--V Civilian version
--V Utility version
--IV Civilian version
--IV Utility version
All helicopters within this pack have closed and functioning rear doors, so you can experience this beautiful helicopter at its peak glory.
Installation:
1. copy the 'maverickv' folder to the file path "mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/"
2. open OpenIV, navigate to 'dlclist.xml' in "mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/". Add "< Item>dlcpacks:/maverickv/< /Item>"
Change log:
v. 2.0: - use Monkeypolice188's improved IV style Maverick as base
v.1.1: - Fixed the landing gear and rotor textures for the IV mavericks
- Fixed the tail rotor texture glitching

Dude! I love it! Im not sure if you fixed the glide rails also, but these are the changes that make a HUUGE difference to gameplay overall! Nice work buddy!
(If you're into sudo realism, I'd recommend my handling mod to go along with this!)

@Wetter42 I loved your handling mods, really a breath of fresh air for lore aviation.
@springtrapxd I'm planning on mapping the helicopter to make a police version, that will come in the 2nd or 3rd big update for this mod.
Great mod overall, but :
- There is a hole in the back and it reveals a weird texture.
- The animation for the rear, to get in and leave, clip through the model sometimes (see my next point).
- The rear seats are weirdly placed. I think you should move them just a little further back, to at least keep a space for animations and characters, this should fix clipping and give more space (definitely better). I think Frogger rear seats are a good example for what I'm talking about.
- You should also fix/hide the hole in the back, and the rear windows (on the doors) don't break correctly.

Overall a pretty dope mod. I never understood why they didn't make the side doors able to be opened and closed with passenger control. I'd love to see a closed side door Higgins Helitours version of this titled 'Helitours Maverick' to stay true to the IV name.
And we will dance cum ba ee very soon with this beauty, excellent magnifico!

@Wenhelxing if you do pls do a BCSO ( ventura county sheriff office lorified ) version
