@F7YO Are there any changes that have to be made to the new v3504 gameconfig or can I use your previous 3442 for the 3504 without any issues with the Legacy edition? And also, I got a question for you personally, how are you able to test and play your own "Enhanced" version of the game if your gameconfig is dependent on the heap and packfile adjusters in order to function properly? How do you prevent it from crashing on launch? I assume in order for you to test your "Enhanced Edition" gameconfig your game would have to launch successfully, how are you able to do it because everybody else's "Enhanced Edition" is crashing because the heap and packfile limit adjusters are incompatible at the moment.
@Alex106 Sorry to ask you again about another question, I should've included it in the previous one but, I just forgot. The "plantsmgr.ytd", all this time I've being installing at \x64a.rpf\textures\ because that's where that file shows up in OpenIV search however in your installation instructions you instruct to install it at "mods\update\update.rpf\x64\textures\" but there's no "plantsmgr.ytd" there originally.
@Alex106 I noticed that you didn't included the "hei_ch3_12_vw_dlc_casino.ytd" in this new 1.3 version, do we still need to install that file as before or is it no longer needed for the "Legacy" version, I mean.
@WesternGamer If you can find the link to that "Skip Intro" mod please provide us with the link. I did some search on line to see if I could find that version that you're talking about that supposedly works with enhanced but, couldn't find any leads....I even went to GTAinside but, is not there either.
@Os23s هل سيكون من الممكن بالنسبة لك القيام بـ 2007 Pontiac G6 GT Convertible؟
in order to modify internal brightness of night time you have to modify some of the timecycle_mods ........ the xmls
if you do a search in openiv you're gonna see a whole bunch but concentrate on the ones within update.rpf and common.rpf......the xmls in there are the ones you need to modify in order to make the night sky a bit clearer and not pitch dark
@Foxy_Oxy I'm happy to report that the issue I had with the 4.0 version, causing the game to become overly bright and colorful, has been fixed apparently with the new 4.5 version. The coloration and the tone of brightness has been restored to how I had it before with the benefits of the mod itself.
What I'm thinking is that maybe with the graphics mod components I have, VisualV with Reshade, the preset works well, as long as native textures are untouched however since the textures were enhanced to 4k/2k in the 4.0 version I think that sort of oversaturated the colors and brightness in such a way that it actually conflicted with the preset I had. Obviously I don't want to discourage anyone from using the 4.0 version but, I think it works best for anyone that does not have graphics mods installed, like I do. If you do have a graphics mod installed I recommend using the 4.5 version instead.
This 4.0 enhancement update on the vegetation looks great! The grass and most trees/palms look nicely sharp and realistic but, there seems to be a slight downside to this new update though. For one thing, it does causes a major drop on fps, I have a strong gaming laptop and I noticed the fps dropped for about -10 or more than that, in some areas. Also, I find this kind of weird but, once I installed the dlc, for some reason, everything became overly bright and too colorful.
I have VisualV installed with Reshade and ENBseries combined with a specific preset.ini in it but, it seemed as if the dlc overwrote the preset I had and made things overly colorful....I don't know...I could be wrong. I have to maybe take the dlc out and see if there's a difference after I take it out. I'll report on this soon.
@LS-Multiplayer Team Am I supposed to have both OpenIV.asi and OpenRPF.asi together in the directory when modifying files in OpenIV? I loaded GTA V enhanced in OpenIV with only OpenRPF.asi installed and when I clicked on the "Edit" tab I was prompted to install OpenIV.asi, it seems as if without OpenIV.asi installed I can't edit any files.
@Foxy_Oxy I think you peeled the right banana here with this "grass" mod. After installing it, I noticed the grass does looks much more realistic. It also looks, as if, it's got some depth to it as well as those sandy spots where grass doesn't grow, as in real life, which makes it even more realistic. It's definitely a much better improvement than vanilla's overly bright, cartoonist flat grass. Good job dude!! 5 stars on this one :-)
