If you played Far Cry 2, do you remember the walkie-talkie?
It's a treasure detector too. With it, you can find the hidden diamonds. When you're close to the diamonds, the walkie-talkie's LED will blink, and the closer you get the quicker the LED will blink. If you're facing the diamonds, the LED will stop blinking.
My mod works the same way.
When you're close to the collection item, the radar will blink. The closer you get to the item, the quicker the radar will blink. If you're facing the item, the radar's color changes to red (normal color is yellow).
I advise you to use the first person mode when you're searching because it will help you judge which direction you're facing.

Next version will have more collection items.
Installation
1.Make sure you have both the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 and the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package (x64) installed.
2.Extract the file into your game folder.

how do i open the mod??
@LividToffeee @BahamutX You don't need to open the mod. When you pass by the place where the collection item was, the radar auto blinks.

@Darkstar No, I just want you to search the treasure by the detector. Not tell you the place where the collection item was.
Is it possible to change the red mini map color to green, red already indicates you are wanted.
Is it possible to fix so that the mod don't blip for spaceship parts before you actualy has enabled that mission with Franklin?
pro tip: if you play as Franklin, and take Chop for a walk, you can make him search collectibles for you as long as they are in range...
this mod + taking chop with you... should make it a lot easier to find stuff.

Thanks for the mod. Works well. Can't wait for the update that removes the flash on the radar when we take the item. Hopefully with some other cool features as well. Thanks again.
