Need for Speed Underground Speedometer for GTA V
A simple speedometer script that's just a speedometer, but with a few extras! Rev up that nostalgia!
Image by I'm Not MentaL, thank you!
Features
N2O bars are displayed when the vehicle has a rocket boost, or a mod is installed that supports this speedo.
Requirements
GTA V v1.0.877.1 to 1.0.1290.1
ScriptHookV
Installation
Drop iktSpeedo.asi and the iktSpeedo folder in the GTA V root directory.
Open the menu
F8 to open the menu. Key can be changed in iktSpeedo/settings_menu.ini.
"iktspeedo" to open the menu. Cheat string can be changed in iktSpeedo/settings_menu.ini.
Integration
Eddlm's Realistic Nitro
Lorizz's NFS Nitro Mod
I'm Not MentaL's More Realistic Nitro
I'm Not MentaL's Nitro for all Vehicles
Manual Transmission
Making skins
In settings_general.ini under [DEV], set ShowPlacementMenu to true. This allows you to move and resize bits.
The script scans for an ini file and a folder with the same name. If both are found, it's considered a skin, and you can choose it in the menu. Setting a custom default skin is possible by just changing in settings_general.ini under [SETTINGS] the Default option to the name of your skin.
There's no speed dial right now and it isn't on the list, but if for some reason it's wanted I'll see how I can add it. Provide a visual mock-up so I can plan things out.
Future changes
This script is still in v0.0.1, so changes might happen. Visually it's as-is, but functionality might be added or streamlined. Especially if you are skinning this, be aware of breakage happening, but I'll always mention it in the changelogs.

@Shieldsver
You sure you're not confusing MPH and KPH? 75MPH happens to be 120KPH.
Yes I'm sure. Both speedos are in KPH ;\
@Shieldsver
Use another speedometer to confirm, but I'm pretty sure mine is accurate.
Yup i've confirmed it too, your's is accurate. The other is not xD
I got a big ass virus from this, thanks
@zsömle
You're welcome.
Love the Mod! just a question though, when making your own skins how do you turn off the blue hint for the HUD? I've looked in both the "default" folder and the "default-drag" folder and they both show as white in the previews, but in game they show as blue. Also can the resolution be be upped higher without any issues? Again thank-you for the mod, your doing gods work :D
wonder
The turbo meter is not working
Works fine.
can not change speedo text color..any update:(
@ikt will it work with fuel mod??
@zsömle what the hell are you talking about?
@ikt mph to in car mph are not matching. Also when switching to drag speedometer, I get the entire right side of the screen red/yellow blur obstruction my view.
@ikt please update it .. and add color change option
@Ikt
I know you probably haven't touched this mod in ages, but it'd be nice if you could remove the blue coloring. I don't know why you made everything blue via script instead of just via the images/skins, it would've made more sense to do it that way instead. I wanted to make a custom skin for this but it sucks because the script turns it blue.
could add gas option also. Great nostalgic speedometer!
Hello, aby chance od hiding Speedo while using phone (camera, internet Explorer)?
I havent gotten around to it until now but the speedometer is rgb coded. 2, 127, 183. the inverse of which is 253, 128, 72. you have to mess around with saturation and brightness values as well because well....colors.
This Need for Speed Underground Speedometer 0.0.7 script is very good, bro.
