This mod is rather self explanatory. You need a camera mod (Free cam mod works. Try Menyoo's freecam.) and Scripthook V .NET to properly use it. Mod is a bit buggy so use cleanup when you have issues.

ModSwitch = F11

I've always wanted this. Thanks for this and your "First Person Cutscenes" mod. Keep up the good work.
In the early versions of "First Person Cutscenes" I was able to go into third person and first person and look around while in the cutscene, could you make that possible again with this mod?
@MrCrazyheat You'll be the greatest modder of all time if you can enable rockstar editing of cutscenes. Since it would allow people to "direct their own versions" of the game's story, like a fan edit.
Of course it would almost be better to have a mod that enables recording during missions where the option is disabled by default, but presumably this restriction only exists due to the limitations of the editor itself; perhaps not being capable of handling the scope of the assets being utilized in some or most story missions. For that reason they'd have excluded it in favor of complaints about it being "missing" over it being "broken." Either way being able to use the recorder unimpeded is kind of the "holy grail" for people who actually like using the vanilla editor.
dude your pc is a beast 82fps damn yu using low settings right?
Awesome! But could you make it possible to edit the camera position of cutscenes within the Rockstar editor?
@futurestoryteller I tried triggering the recording function in a cutscene with a custom script. There are failsafes in place to disable the recording function in cutscenes. However I will try enabling the recording function in missions. Seems much more feasible to do.
@BrownieBear Recording in cutscenes is not possible due to failsafes Rockstar has made in the cutscene scripts
@MrCrazyheat Please, help! Cutscenes are not recorded! Tell me how to enable recording during cutscene? I know it is possible! I'm desperate. There is no information anywhere. I'd like to edit cutscenes like Duggy
@MrCrazyheat Duggy has found a way to record during cutscenes and re-edit the camera angles. Not sure why he isn't sharing the method so other people can enjoy making creative reinterpretations.
@GrandmaRos did you find out how that works
@ShadoFax Nope, he says in one comment on YouTube that he just used this mod. So I guess he's not sharing his technique with other filmmakers...
How do you install it?
Prologue its glitched
You say it's self explanatory, but i have no idea how to use it. I press F11 and nothing happens. Maybe I'm dumb, but can someone explain it to me?
@MrCrazyheat could you explain how to use this mod? i might be dumb but i cant figure it out
@Reanchi You need mod that allows you to freely move the camera. Freecam is an example of this
I don't understand, I placed all the files inside the download in the GTAV Directory, But when i try to press F11 nothing happens
I even have menyoo's spooner cam, and script hook v .net
Nevermind turns out, you have to put the files in the scripts folder
great mod,The only drawback is that the prompt text when switching cameras is in the position of the subtitles. When I watched the animation, the prompt words that appeared when switching the free camera and restoring the cutscene camera would occupy the subtitles. If I could change it to another position or cancel the prompt text, it would be better. alright
