Description:
Okay this is the last MP5 mod for now... Here is the H&K MP5A2 with the Surefire dedicated forend weaponlight! Next mod is a revision for the MAC-10. I also have a retexture I've been working on that'll get posted soon. I decided to includ the insurgency mags aswell as an alternate mag. I had to make the flashlight invisible for it to work properly.
Features:
• Fully Animated
• Working Collision Data
• 2K Textures
• Alternate Magazine Available.
It also includes standard and extended magazine replacements.
Please note:
Same issues as before. The magazine jumps a tiny bit, but it's not noticeable during normal gameplay, and the hand has minor clipping. Also, the sights don't line up in first person.
All assets were taken directly from Insurgency: Sandstorm
Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
Place the meta files in
mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\ai
Instructions to remove the flashlight in the readme.
How to Fix Texture Loss:
If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024x1024 or 1024x512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren't, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.

YES! Finally an mp5 with the surefire handguard! Now, we need this version with the folding stock and it will be perfect. Don't leave us hanging like that brother, you know those other mp5s with the folding stocks you've made have that weird flashlight position on top of the barrel because of Insurgency's laser attachment placement in game. We are this close to have that surefire handguard and folding stock combo that's arguably one of the best mp5 set up aesthetically and practically speaking.
