I dont understand the mod, can you add a video/ pictures or describe the mod better ?

I think 'works like a sticky' is as clear and simplistic as you can get.

change the sound to pistol.50 one

It's like the sticky bomb, but he edit de [Fx /] line to copy the Flare Fx, so when you throw the sticky bomb they will have a flare "tracer". Explore your GTA files guys -_-

Hmm.. I just watched the video and it bounced off the ground after being thrown, so obviously it does not "work like a sticky".
