This mod will allow you to aim anywhere with the following vehicles:
-Annihilator
-Buzzard
-Hydra
-Insurgent (Not usable in patch 1.0.372.2)
-Laser
-Technical (Sometimes the machine gun won't be equipped automatically, you may have to switch to it)
-Valkyrie
-Savage (Not aimable in patch 1.0.372.2)
Aiming too far backwards will cause the machine guns to shoot forwards again, so don't expect it to work all the time.
Changelog:
v1.3
-The side door guns for the Valkyrie can now be used while in the pilot seat
v1.2
-The nose cannon for the Valkyrie can now be controlled while in the pilot seat
-The turrets for the Insurgent and Technical can now be controlled while in the driver seat
v1.1
-Rockets with homing off will now shoot in the direction you are aiming.
-Fixed reticle for the Savage, it was a little off to the left.
Installation:
MAKE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP OF THESE FILES BEFORE INSTALLING
1.Download and install OpenIV if you haven't already.
2.Place weapons.meta in: GTA V>update>update.rpf>common>data>ai
3.Place weaponvehiclesavage.meta in: GTA V>update>update.rpf>dlc_patch>mpheist>common>data>ai

@andretfk Yeah the homing missiles can't be aimed even though it looks like they can be. I am currently working on a fix for this, but I'm not sure if it can actually be done.
I enter at the pilot seat
Missile lock, not to target launch! Hope to be able to update!

i've been reworking several files into one weapons/handling n what not ya know, doing my own thing... and i noticed this: <ReticuleHudPosition x="0.520000" y="0.505000" /> was what you had in for PLANE_ROCKET, space_rocket did have x=.5 y=.5. i am just wondering how important that reticuleHUDposition is?
