Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4
Original model: Forza 4\Juiced 2\scratch made by me
Screenshots by Rennie
When i was a kid, ive played Gran Turismo 2 on my PS1 and one of my favorite cars was the Mitsubishi 3000 GT with the giant wing at the back and the aggressive front bumper
so this model is a tribute to that nostalgia

======= 2.01 =========
- fixed collision issues
- Optimized textures archive
- Fixed license plate bug on one of the tuning rear bumpers
======= 2.0 =========
- Interior retextured
- Fixed template
- many minor bugs were fixed
- New and improved lights
- Tweaked materials
- Added spoilers, exhausts and a rear diffuser
- LHD
- Forza LODs
- New tires, brake calipers and suspension
- Dials glow red at night
And many more fixes that i forgot about.
1.1 fixes:
-windows weirdness
-TEMPLATE!!!111
-some interior textures
- optimized lods (some still look like crap but i don't really know how to make quality lods without spending an unnecessery ammount of time on it)
-optimized the camera pos (lowered it a bit) if you want to change the camera position on any car then go to vehicles.meta and find a setting called PovCameraOffset change the Z axis for height)
A few notes:
Ive used the sound of the ZR380 which is relatively new and for those of you who have an older version of the game, the car may not have audio. to fix that, simply go to vehicles.meta, find a line called "audioNameHash" and replace ZR380 with any other car's name.
The scale of the bumpers in the template is a bit smaller than the scale of the body. ive noticed it too late and it's quite a chore to change that...
Also, ive made a livery for test purposes. im pretty sure youll make a better one :P
Features:
-low poly but still decently detailed enginebay and trunk
-a lot of tuning parts
-paintable interior
-supports the main game features
Bugs:
== If you find any other bugs - let me know.

Thank you all for the feedback
Ive finally found some time to fix this car
Feel free to Re-download it!
@LukeDominic oh i see
yep hopefully it's fixed and bugless now
love the mod but is there a similar mod with the left hand drive configuration? doesn't have to be made by you or anything just seeking a left hand drive 3kgt.
@SOUTHERNxSAMMY There is one but it's pretty old and lacks a few features
search for mitsubishi GTO
(mitsubishi galant vr6)-
Please add this model to GTA5. I have long dreamed of driving on it along the roads of Los Santos!
здесь тоже нет звука двигателя
mitsubishi Lancer Cedia 2000-2001
MX-E or MX-S Please add this model!!!
@Wanted188 Gran Turismo 2 good times..
I'm a bit late to the party, but incredible job regardless! Tons and tons of tuning parts, with a model that is near perfect. Great car!
@Wanted188 i just realized that this model is left hand (american) drive (facepalm) imma try and install this. it will be my first add on car that i am going to do so wish me luck!
@SOUTHERNxSAMMY and i just realized that i misread your comment
good luck and have fun
@Wanted188 so far i haven't been able to get it to spawn. i might have misplaced it within the dlclist file but im working on i t and reading the readme to a T
@SOUTHERNxSAMMY well all you gotta do is place the dlc folder in Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
and add an entry to dlclist (written in the readme)
also you gotta have a recent patch and the latest gameconfig
if you still have problems, contact me on discord

Great job bro good car , Thanks!!
Car behavior settings are just depressing. Nothing can be changed - the car stubbornly does not enter the turns and does not react in any way if you change the indicators. Impossible to ride. The right-hand drive model (available on the website) is better. An example for those who understand the settings: <vecInertiaMultiplier x = "1.500000" y = "1.300000" z = "1.200000" />. Pay your attention to "X" - 1.500000. Is everything clear? .. Everything is the other way around, if you download it in short and in one word.
@JP-Julia The beauty of modding is that everyone tweaks whatever mod they download to suit their tastes
1.5 star rating is reserved for broken mods
Did the handling ive made for this car brake your game? Was it impossible for you to fix?
Also, saying "is everything clear?" Is very rude
I dont owe you anything. Modders dont wake up every morning thinking how they are going to make you, JP-Julia happy.
In short, stop behaving like an entitled kid.
@Wanted188 When the front end is damaged and the bumper is "loose" the lights are attached to the bumper and sway with the bumper, it looks very odd. I realize you would have to remesh a whole bunch to fix this along with a ton of your tuning mods. I prefer the pre-facelift lights and bumper but that's just personal taste... I do love your choice of default wing. I wish the different wings, lights, and front ends were extras instead of tuning parts, so when using the car as a replacement vehicle and spawning naturally in the game, it wouldn't always be exactly the same (other than color). But these are really very MINOR complaints. For some reason the dash model is just a solid color, I can see the textures in the .YTD file, but they aren't mapping when I spawn the add-on. Not sure why. Otherwise I love it. Also thank you for doing the proper scale, unlike SOME 3000GTs which are gigantic (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/1999-mitsubishi-3000-gt)
@lufusol this mod id ancient and the car needs a total remake
Ive learned quite a bit of stuff since ive made it and will be doing things differently once ill get to it
@Wanted188 Yeah, I understand it's old. I'm sure you know some tweaks under the hood. I wouldn't ask you to remake it or to make another vehicle like so many people do (that's your choice) but if you insist it needs to be redone from the ground up, instead of just addressing the few issues, I understand. I won't twist your arm. There is another (incomplete) GTO that I've been using, the right hand drive one. Also a very old one (2016) and I made some suggestions on that mod, too. Of course they are not demands, just things I noticed if the author chooses to work on it again. Helpful to have a checklist of bugs or areas for improvement. Same for you, I don't come to bring you down, only point out what might be useful if you do it again. Love your work. Keep up the good stuff!
@lufusol
its more of a matter of my own feelings about this car
the model itself is bad and would need so much fixing to feel up to standard for me that it would be easier to just remake it and use a different base model.
although such a task would not be easy to say the least (I want to convert the GTO\3000GT from gran turismo sport).
although even if I do so, I doubt ill release it for free. I've seen some of my cars that I've released for free being abused and sold so I'm not too keen on releasing my more labor-intensive cars.
anyway thanks for the kind words and I do appreciate your feedback!
@Wanted188 It's clear that you aspire to do good quality work and I'm sorry to hear about people copying and selling your work. You're not the only one, that seems to be a rampant problem on these mod sites. Even on this site, I won't name names but I have seen some very suspicious releases after examining the contents of the rage package files. There's also a lot of nonexistent, incomplete and even game-breaking metadata being packaged (or not) with a lot of these mods. I'm tempted to start releasing mods for people's mods lol. Not yours though, I would gladly work with you and share the work if you choose to do another one of these cars. Have a great Thanksgiving!
