This handling mod is ment to be used while driving in FPS mode !!!
What does this mod bring new to the game?
- reworked suspensions to simulate the car's feeling on the road
- reworked breaking system
- reworked traction on all axes, especially lateral / sideways.
- reworked acceleration / top speed and gear shifting to better simulation of driving in the city.
- reworked car velocity and aerodynamics.
Hello guys, first of all, you should know that this is a realistic handling mod for those who drive this car in FPS mode. I created this handling to give you the sense of control and true feeling of the car, NOT SPEED. Driving this car through the crowded city , alongside with other cars is just a beauty. You can control your car very easy without going to 100 km/h too fast.
Now, there is a reason I've set the car's max speed to 100 km/h. In my experience of editing handling for gtav, I've came to the conclusion that if you want 1st person driving in this game you cant go beyond lets say 120-130 (and thats a bit of stretch already). If you drive too fast in this game, you will not be able to get the true feeling of the car.
installation Instructions:
1. You need the car:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/mercedes-benz-ml-brabus-2009-monoblock-q
Install the car using the instructions you will find in the archive.
2. For the AddOn method, navigate to
update / x64 / dlcpacks / mlbrabus / dlc.rpf / data
and replace the handling.meta in that location with my file.
If you have any suggestions, leave it in the comments below.
Remember that this is ment for people that want to drive this car in the city having somehow a true feeling. It's not for people who want to fly off the map.

@ValkyriePC man could you please tell me how to make a vehicle roll for a long time after you release the gas pedal? I mean, using the original handling, the car will stop shortly if you don't accelerate. I have tried to modify the drag coeff value in many ways but it doesn't help :( In GTA SA I have done it succesfully by making the vehicle mass value incredibly high (around 10 000 kg). Anyway it didn't work in IV. Help me please!

fDriveInertia. That's the command you are looking for, but you also need to change other commands to make it work smooth.
@ValkyriePC thanks, but what commands exactly? I have changed the drive inertia and seems like it didn't help.

Traction, suspenssion, gears. That's why i haven't told you what commands exactly, because there are a lot of those and you kinda need to find the balance between them. If you want more information you can search google "gta v handling modding".
