Script hook V after months of being patient for the update is bizarrely working for me now. up until my last attempt last night it would crash the game on the loading screen. Since then I've reinstalled GTA 5 which updated to the latest version. Removed all my mods, Uninstalled: GTA redux, Open IV, reinstalled both following the instructions to the letter, then installed both Script hook V and Script hook v net. Before the game would crash on the loading screen every time but I was surprised when I saw Franklin outside his crib. I took 3 screenshots to prove it can work and it could possibly be something from your end.

Here's a question. If Alex started charging £2 per download from everyone for every script update would you pay up or cry about being ripped off? If his script was easy to do I'm sure there would be countless reliable imitations. Alex is giving you something that he's invested his own time in that gives you weeks/months of fun for FREE. If he's called it a day I'm sure he'd announce it. Remember, he doesn't owe you anything so if you expect him to continue making free scripts you owe him a little thing called 'patience'.
This patch (below) fixed the crashes I was having on launch almost everytime with REDUX already installed after the updated scripthookv. Replacing the Update.rpf from back up didn't work but this patch did the trick for me:
Strange one this. I don't use car mods but this patch fixed a conflict I was having with the recent scriphookv update and redux I recently installed, game would crash on launch. I'll post this link in scripthookv page as it might help someone else. Cheers!!
@calico84 Yes GTA will run of you remove script hook v......Just remove asiloader.log...dinput8.dll...NativeTrainer.asi.....ScripHookv.dll and ScriptHookV.log. Should load up but you won't be able to use (f4) trainers etc
@Imadz I think you're fine as long as you don't attempt an update. I started getting the Error message right after I tried this. Redux still works but I can't use 'trainers'

edit: You have to replace the 'gameconfig.xml' in openIV path: GTA V / mods / update / update.rpf / common / data
