make sure you have all of those configured and installed. also make sure the files you are moving over are outside of a zip file and inside of regular folder. make sure to extract mods when dragging into openiv. i assume its your gameconfig file you need to edit.
@projectrealismgames i figured it out. when i was dragging my gameconfig.xml to my gta i was doing it while inside of the zip and open IV doesnt allow you to do that. it looked like it worked but it seems it just blocks it without giving any errors. thank you for the effort you put in to help
@projectrealismgames trying out some other mods in the meantime to see what the issue is
how come some mods want you to add a item inside of \DLC_NAME\ while others want it as /DLC_NAME/
@projectrealismgames do you have discord or something where I can message you and send you some screenshots?
i literally have tried any mod. EUP works fine but I installed that with the ovi auto installer. i even tried a brand new fresh mods folder without eup and it did work either when i went to add an addon mod.
@projectrealismgames nope, its just refusing to let me use any addons. i just started a fresh mods folder and tried just 1 mod, literally adding 1 extra file into dlc packs breaks it. i made sure to add the file in dlclist.xml as well. ive tried numerous different mods and it is still not working. am i missing something? i have all the files that OP listed as DOWNLOAD IMPORTANT in the mod description for gameconfig.xml
@projectrealismgames I only have EUP and that is working fine but this is a fresh install, im currently troubleshooting to see what is making it crash.
I am having an issue where I cannot add any addon vehicles at all. I have been modding for years so I know I am doing it right. The game works fine without any addons but the moment I add something it breaks. I have packfile adjusted, heap adjuster, and gameconfig. I was able to replace vehicles with modding but I am not able to add any addons, does anyone have any advice? As soon as I add any addon my game begins to crash on launch. Pls help
