New updates are fantastic, it feels much more fleshed out.
Would it be a pain in the ass to add a 'feature' that lets you toggle the new native head hiding method? I use this plugin in a FiveM server and when I'm in first person, I believe that I'm headless to other players when in first person. 😱
Posting here since I finally figured it out and was able to change it to F7, it's either:
[key]
ENTER = F7
or
[MENU]
MenuKey = F7
If you're using this on FiveM, make sure the .ini is also present in your GTA5 folder, as that's where it seems to be looking for the .ini, even if you're launching using FiveM.
@Ballsy There are tutorials out there or I can send you my patched version for 3095 on Discord, same username as on here.
@Ballsy You can manually patch it to work on 3095 and it works fine.
Is there a way to change or disable the menu key? Using this in FiveM and the menu keeps popping up while using chat or other menus.
Has anybody noticed this no longer working after the latest content update? It was working fine before and now I'm getting the annoying animation again.
Aside from the engine audio being near silent, this has been an amazing addition to the game ☺
@MissySnowie I didn't see hair anywhere within the 'first_person_alternates.meta' file
Do you know what the drawable for hair might be?
@MissySnowie Interesting. I tried to get it working on FiveM again and managed to get it working this time around, but it doesn't seem to hide my characters hair or earbuds. Is there something that should be changed within the 'first_person_alternates.meta' file?
Otherwise it works fine for what I was trying to do, so I'll be using it from now on 😊
This might just be an issue with getting this working in FiveM, but is there a way to change what key opens the camera menu?
By default in Fivem, it appears to be the "[" key, and I thought changing 'MenuKey' within settings_menu.ini might change it 🤔
