Quick update to my comment above.. changing the export path to "Documents\Rockstar Games" seems to have solved the problem. I suspect my old path "C:\" was not writable by the client.
Does anyone know how you get rid of that watermark in upper left corner?

Exporting in fullscreen causes client to crash. Exporting in widowed or borderless outputs stock GTA footage (as if EVE is not enabled).
