@mannofnope yes, please tell me the results.
@mannofnope update your mods and reinstall all of them, check the installation order.
Install in this order:
IVPack >>> WoV >>> WoV IVPack Patch >>> VWE >>> VWE IVP+WoV patch >>> VWE vehicle data tweaks (recommended) >>> Custom gameconfig
@mannofnope going to need more info
Are you running the latest version of GTAV?
Are you running the latest version of IVPack and VWE?
When does the crash occur?
What was your installation order?
Are you using any other vehicle mods?
Does the game work without IVPack and VWE?
@NovaRuk Thanks for the reply. I am hoping to get a larger sample size and I will upload it to Gta5-mods. Perhaps with a tutorial.
If anything changes I will try to keep it up to date.
@thekrebscycle are you on the latest update?
@Carrythxd I got IVPack working again, using a custom gameconfig I made.
Let me know if this works for you: https://drive.google.com/open?id=10qQlE9NM1kGFijd7hUgErMZcCzeMNgSh
@NovaRuk Someone already sent it to me and I did some testing. No gameconfig I tried seemed to work, so I made my own.
Please let me know if this gameconfig works for you as soon as you can: https://drive.google.com/open?id=10qQlE9NM1kGFijd7hUgErMZcCzeMNgSh
@Carrythxd maybe add them to the options folder along with the other optional things.
As GTAV gets older and Rockstar releases more and more updates, the limits of GTAV get pushed further and further. It's becoming harder to get past those limits, gameconfigs which were once stable become unstable with each update, and it's becoming a chore for every modder to update each mod every time Rockstar releases a new update that further pushes the DLC limit, modkit limit, vehicle limit, etc. Even though you can get around these limits, the game becomes less stable as a result.
Huge ambitious mods like IVPack, Vanillaworks, and WorldOfVariety are becoming buggier, less stable, and less compatible with eachother with each game update and mod update. In the end you can't really blame anyone for it, it's just the reality of where the game is going and the state of the modding community.
@NovaRuk I have no idea anymore and I can't test anything. IVPack apparently just doesn't work for half of users, and people are having varying degrees of success with various gameconfig files, some work for some people others don't, who knows...
As for VWE, I have no idea what is going on with that mod, they removed half the vehicles from the latest update and added a few others, also the gameconfig changed, so it might not even be compatible with IVpack anymore.
Also, WoV is no longer up and was deleted by the author, so I can't test it anymore on the latest version.
So between IVPack no longer receiving support (after coming back from a month long hiatus) and not working for most people, VWE being gimped by the author and not being compatible with most other vehicle mods, and WoV no longer existing, I'd say the mod scene for GTAV is pretty much in its death throes.
