AddonWeapons Builder is a program that lets you convert any replaceable weapon into an Add-On version compatible with AddonWeapons.
Program features:
- Automatic generation of folders and XML files
- Packaging of addon weapons into dlc.rpf
- Automatic installation into the game: the program will locate the mods folder, place the RPF archive there, and edit dlclist.xml itself
Currently, it only supports the Legacy RPF format. Without packaging, it works on Enhanced with Easy Mod Loader installed: simply uncheck the box next to "Pack into RPF".
How to use:
1. Select the desired mode (for modders or for players)
2. Specify the folder containing the .ydr and .ytd files for the weapon replacement
3. Specify the folder where dlc.rpf will be created (or the GTA V folder if you are installing the mod directly into the game)
4. Configure the weapon settings: name, description, price, ammo, and components.
5. You can install all weapon mods into a single AddonWeapons dlcpack. It will be created automatically, and all future weapon mods will be installed there. If you uncheck this box, each weapon will generate its own separate dlcpack.
To purchase Addon weapons in the game, download and install AddonWeapons.

Awesome tool
Would love for the tool to have a way to change the weapon model name rather than just how the gun name appears in the store. For example with using files meant to replace a special carbine, the tool currently renames a file like "w_ar_specialcarbine+hi.ytd" to "w_ar_specialcarbine_awe1bbec+hi.ytd". Which works great as far as allowing for the addon gun to exist at the same time as the gun it was originally intended to replace, but it'd be nice to be able to choose that it replaces the gun model/ID name to. Either way thank you so much for this tool it is amazing Andre.
