Description

Open config.xml to customize your experience
F8: Opens menu
E: Starts a race with the closest car in range
E: Starts a sprint race when within range of a start flag
T: Spawns cars to race
If you find yourself unable to finish the race due to a bug, pressing the 'Insert' key will reload all the scripts.

Install
To install copy StreetRacing.dll and the streetracing folder into the scripts folder where GTA.exe is located. If you don't have a scripts folder then make one.

- Spawn Distance Races - Spawn racer(s) to race to the, winner is reaches the set distance between the vehicles
- Sprint Races - Races around the game world marked with a flag on the map, go up to one and press E to spawn vehicles to follow the checkpoints to the finish
- Track Recorder - Record your own sprint race tracks
- Police pursuits - Police pursue you if they see you racing, gives you 1 star
- Customizable xml config - Change various settings to tweak your gameplay

@Blackleaf420 Thanks for the feedback, I'll get that fixed in the next version. I left it so they can roam after but I can see how having a bunch of crazy drivers can be annoying
@Callum5042 I have some sugestions if I may
1) some peds should have the option to decline your race if they have a worse car then yours or if they just don't want too
2) if police starts pursuit you, the race should be disabled and you and your rival should run for your lives :D
3) meetings in the night (after 1) and this can be fuuull of ideas.Just use some of them from EDDLM mod (I know has it but his mod is bugged and he is not supporting anymore)
4) You should aim for immersion so less menus etc
Hey there, sadly the script does not work for me, I'm getting following error message in the ScriptHookVDotNet2 log file: [ERROR] Failed to instantiate script 'StreetRacing.Source.StreetRacing' because constructor threw an exception:
System.FormatException: The input source is not correctly formatted.

Using the newest NativeUI. Any help would be appreciated.
@Callum5042 you should look at how impromptu racing as his driver reurn to normal after a race also i noticed a issue using the track race that allot the time a driver will just stop driving and also i noticed your driver are really slow taking turns they ted to behave like thier taking a vanilla turn and not in a race
@CARTlike Have you changed the checkpoints.xml file in the streetracing folder? It looks like that error will occur when setting the X, Y, Z to a invalid number
@Callum5042 Nope, no changes done to any of the files. I read online that reason for this problem could be the language and / or region of my windows (default is german / germany). I changed it to English (US) and I managed to open the menu with F8, however, right after that, I got a script error.
Thanks for making a good mod. Here I report one bug. Even after I modified the config.xml file in the streetracing folder to change its activation key from the default 'E' to another 'K', it still is activated with 'E'. Because the 'E' key is already used for the default horn, it is kind of duplicated. Can you fix it to be normally settable in the next update? :D
@Callum5042 how do i race with car mods ... not game cars ?
@Callum5042 have another issue where driver will just stop driving completely mid race
For developer's reference: I changed the activation key in two xml files of both originally attached one in a given folder and a new generated one in the 'scripts' folder, but nothing worked. Rather I saw it later came back to its default 'E' again.
@Blackleaf420 Are they stopping on all the races or is it just on a certain race?
@FelixSG That was a bug from reading / saving the file to the wrong directory, should be fixed in the next update. Changing it in the menu is something I can look into

It is not working the exchange of keys and money values per race. (Please fix 'config.xml')
But the rest of the mod is perfect.
