Yes, it is saving under the water, but it is coming to the surface.
Hi, I'd like to know which key is used for the Persistent Mod 1.0
@xtrad2025 Page up key for save and Page down key for unsave
Does this save the vehicles damage state? i.e. deformation, exploded, wheels lost, etc...
@Hycade No this mod is for save your vehicles with modifications not with deformation.
Works great, only thing is that pearlescent paint doesn't save properly. I'll save it as silver but game reloads as red
@LoonySkate124 I fixed it bro check now
@itsmethemod Open Source means the source code is available. What you have is a configuration file. Your script is compiled whereas Open Source files are text. Adding "style" after Open Source is misleading. In passing, JSON is the way to save and store files as they are text and easy to modify manually if required vs binary files (bin). Both methods are viable and sames speed
@DainHajek what are you talking about
@itsmethemod You wrote "Open-source style, tweak as needed! ". I'll explain to you what Open source means. It refers to the code itself. Since you're not sharing the code with the community, it is misleading to put "Open Source" style because it definitely isn't. What you have is a settings file (config file). I'm assuming you wrote this with AI? Anyway I just wrote my own persistence script (with JSON, not binary) and downloaded your script to see if I was missing anything to save such as wheels or paint etc. I downloaded thinking it was open source, it wasn't so, I have no use for it.
@DainHajek I'm sorry bro my bad for putting that word in the description
My wheels dont save whenever my car respawns
@itsmethemod Paint issue fixed, I also just noticed the wheels don't save correctly
Thanks for the good work. However, the blip icon still appears even when we drive after saving the car. I wish I didn't see the icon of the saved car temporarily while driving.
@LoonySkate124 wheels not saving issue fixed
@platin46 Thank you. i will try to make it possible in future updates
Not sure you can call it an "eternal garage" without vehicle streaming. You can only load about 50 vehicles before the game starts to break, past 90 vehicles you can't save modkits anymore.
I like that it's basic and simple to use but some modifications don't save and without vehicle streaming it has limited use unfortunately.
@RodaGames Thanks for your review. Hope you enjoy it. And i will try to make that different colors blips in future.
@Unsearchably maybe it's because game limitations. Or you don't use gameconfig?
