A simple script to easily remove the siren from your emergency vehicle. This is possible with other scripts; however, with this script it works in the idea of GTA IV ELS. By simply pressing J (by default) your siren will turn on or off, whether or not your lights are on! This mod does contain a configuration file, so you can change the controls!

so we press normal key for get light and J for get siren on/off ? or did J is also used for replace the "normal" key for light ?
damn, hope you understand what i try to say :/ , here i put an small exempl :
without mod
normal key = light + siren
with mod
normal key = light , J = siren ..... or.... J = light and siren configurable by pressing (ex : 1 hit = siren+ light, 2hit = siren only, 3 hit = light only ,etc..)

@macadamstreet The J key does not replace anything key binding wise already in your game. It's basically like ELS for GTA IV, by pressing J you can leave your lights on with no siren. I am aware there is already existing functions like this in a mod menu, but having to open a menu everytime could get frustrating. Hope my explanation helps!

cool. what'd be super cool is disable sirens completely, if you're on a rampage..there's cops and ambulances..fire trucks all around and it's frankly annoying at times, lol. i grab them with a gravity gun, lower them below the map and Viola! gone :p but still..or at least a siren vol. control would be sweet.
Here's to hoping GTA VI lets us play as law enforcement & not even need mods..although..we always need mods, just the vanilla LE playing would be an option.
