Don't you mean volunteer EMT? Not doctor...
@DevinKan Nah its doctor in Britain
Why the green lights? Know volunteer fire squads in the US and Canada use them, but the UK? Please explain;)
@williskva Green is the universal for North America and Europe for Volunteer/Non-Department Medical responders.
Excellent mod. The amount of detail you put in is great. Keep it up man!
@HomerS Thanks and thanks for stopping by and rating it :)
@DevinKan No its not mate, maybe america but not UK. Green is the correct colour for doctors.
@TheBritishMighty @DevinKan I know from a friend of mine, who lives in Norway, that the Red Cross provides volunteer ambulance crews and vehicles to the health services in evenings and weekends to help relaxing the preassure on the professional ambulance service. They use blue lights, as blue is the only allowed form of emergency warning lighting there, I've heard. I am not sure otherwise in Europe.
Do vehicles still have to yield for green lights in the UK? Never heard of this..
@williskva Mainly in The UK, US, and Canada, yielding is usually optional to green/white lights, but you could save a life in the process so I would yield. Also forgot to rate, @scorponok , so here you go.
@DevinKan Thanks for the rate appreciate it, and yes green lights are more a courtesy light usually used by doctors in the UK. I also believe they are not allowed to break traffic regulations as well.
@scorponok @DevinKan Thanks for explaining! Have a good weekend ye both.
@williskva alright you too man
