Lake Louise is back! This version is NOT a fork or modification of the discontinued ryanm2711 Lake Louise. This version is a brand new conversion from the ground up and includes twice the drivable length. It comes from Assetto so the scale is great and there's a possibility of adding traffic in the future. I like to say this is an homage to the first version and hope it gets as big as the original
!LOCATION IS SOUTHWEST OF THE MAIN ISLAND! (kinda hard to miss)
Installation:
SINGLPLAYER
- Put the basedlakelouiseac folder in the dlcpacks folder (mods > update > x64 > dlcpacks)
- Go to the dlclist.xml and make sure it's enabled.
Make sure you have ScriptHookV, OpenIV, No Boundary Limits, a Trainer, Packfile/Heap Adjuster and custom gameconfig (all can be found on this website). I tested this in SP and FiveM. It works so double check your game if crashes happen.
FIVEM
There is already a FiveM Package. Use that instead of the SP to FiveM business. It's amazing how many ppl miss that standalone package
- Drop the basedlakelouiseac folder into your server resources and ensure it in the server.cfg

- Ground vegetation is sparse. Will be adding grass batches later
- This map has pretty high quality textures so low-end systems might struggle for frames

psst over here maybe the ski lodge too and make the ski lift have more details and add a parking lot there too other then that this is a TOP TIER MAP MOD THERE ARE NONE OTHER LIKE THIS ONE COMPLETE RESPECT TO THE CREATOR WHO PORTED IT OVER AND HOPE MY SUGGESTIONS ARE USEFUL
A few bugs & issues I wanted to point out:
1. the water being fake though not a huge issue was this to save on space and resources so the game doesn't crash? can break the immersion
2. the buildings are good but need more details and parking lots to add realism the bridge at the beginning of the map is also a low poly model that idk if its just me or the game didn't convert it properly because its just a grey mass that looks somewhat like a bridge but with no detail at all
3. Enterable Interiors would Nice at least for the Ski Lodge, Gas Station & Tim Hortons (there doesn't even need to be Peds in the builds just enough detail for some form of emersion)
4. Unrealistic/Fake Trees absolutely not hating on the mod dev when I Mention this but the Trees are fake and you can just drive through them I ask again was this to save on resources so our PCs don't crash or other reason?
5. That is all hopefully that helps with details and this doesn't could as spam as that wasn't my intention
@ON3FLY3R After I installed these maps, none of them displayed normally
@KG99 All of your suggestions have been taken well. The issue with low-detail models/textures isn't the fault of me but the original map from Assetto. I worked with what I had and wanted to put it out when it was at a good state. I agree there needs to be more detail I just have to find time and skill with prop placement... or find someone else to do it. Fake trees are also a thing that came with the original map and I'm not sure if I'll change that because they serve the purpose of balancing visuals/performance. I also I don't wanna place 3000+ trees. Interiors are on the list but idk how to make them yet so I'll have to learn MLOs.
Finally, some add-on maps that aren't just small touges and drift parks.

@ON3FLY3R Sorry for the repeat, newby question. I don't see any requirement for YMap or the like. How do you launch or enable the map from a trainer?

WOW!!!! Really awesome, but why after i drive few meters, my car stopped, and the engine is off....with every car i spawn? this happens with many maps from you,... i play with a old gtaversion 1.0.2372.2 because of the Mod LAREVO... maybe cause of the old version?
@The_Stranger it's supposed to be loaded just like add-on cars. Put the folder "basedlakelouiseac" in the dlcpacks and make sure it's enabled in the dlclist.xml
@TeamHimes use no boundary limits and set the limit in the config to at least 15000

Thought I should post again. I reinstalled everything AND different versions of the other files and it is working GREAT. I rode around using my real bicycle on a trainer with GTABikeV and it was a blast !

@ON3FLY3R I keep getting a corrupt dlc crash only near the long straightaway roads area.
Any idea how to fix it?
Correction the crash error is "Invalid Resource" near the long straightaway bridges.

awesome map but I do wish it were just a bit further out or something. half the airport runways get eclipsed and it's just so big in the sky lol
