Made an account just to say that this is an excellent mod! I had the same problem as @Dempsy, but found the cause: for some reason, the required trainer had "everyone ignore player" checked (options, page 2), and this seems to have a global fear effect. Probably because none of the enemies can target the player?
Anyway, if anyone else has this problem, this should fix it. Just turn off "everyone ignore player" (F4 -> Options -> Next page).
